The Existence and Unity of God
There is only one true God.
Deuteronomy 6:4 – God is one; there is no plurality of gods.
Mark 12:29-32 – Jesus affirmed the fundamental truth that God is one.
Isaiah 45:5 – There is no God besides Yahweh.
1 Corinthians 8:4-6 – There is one God the Father, the source of all things.
Ephesians 4:6 – One God and Father who is over all, through all, and in all.
1 Timothy 2:5 – One God and one mediator between God and men.
John 17:3 – Eternal life depends on knowing the only true God and Jesus Christ whom He sent.
God is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 8:6 – God is identified as the Father.
2 Corinthians 1:3 – God is the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 2:5 – Christ serves as mediator between God and mankind.
God the Creator and Sustainer
God created the heavens, the earth, and everything that exists.
Genesis 1:1 – God created the heavens and the earth.
Nehemiah 9:6 – God made heaven, earth, sea, and all that is in them.
Psalm 124:8 – The Creator of heaven and earth is Israel's helper.
Psalm 146:6 – God made heaven, earth, sea, and everything in them.
Psalm 148:5 – Creation exists because God commanded it.
Jeremiah 10:12-13 – God established the world by His wisdom and power.
Jeremiah 27:5 – God made the earth and all living things.
Jeremiah 32:17-25 – Nothing is too difficult for the Creator.
Jeremiah 51:15 – God made the earth by His power.
Acts 14:15 – God made heaven, earth, sea, and all things.
Acts 17:24 – God is Lord of heaven and earth because He created them.
Isaiah 45:12 – God stretched out the heavens and formed the earth.
God sustains and preserves His creation.
Psalm 104:30 – God's Spirit renews and sustains creation.

God's Eternal Nature
God has always existed and will always exist.
Psalm 90:2 – God is from everlasting to everlasting.

1 Timothy 6:15-16 – God alone possesses inherent immortality.
God is self-existent and depends on no one.

God's Character
God is loving, merciful and compassionate.
Psalm 103:7-11 – God is merciful, gracious, patient, and abundant in mercy.
Psalm 103:8-13 – God's compassion is like that of a loving father.
1 John 4:7-8,16 – God is love.
Exodus 20:5-6 – God shows mercy to those who love and obey Him.
God is righteous and holy and he cannot tolerate sin.
Habakkuk 1:13 – God is too pure to approve evil.
Psalm 5:5-6 – God hates wickedness and deceit.
Hebrews 12:29 – God is a consuming fire against sin.
God is righteous, just, faithful and true.
Deuteronomy 32:4 – All God's ways are just and true.

God is merciful to forgive, but He also judges sin.

God's Power
God is all-powerful.
1 Chronicles 29:11-14 – All greatness, power, and glory belong to God.

Psalm 145:3 – God's greatness is beyond measure.
Isaiah 40:26 – God brings out the stars by His great power.
Job 9:4 – God is mighty in strength and wisdom.
Jeremiah 32:17 – Nothing is too hard for God.
God's Wisdom
God possesses perfect wisdom and understanding.
Isaiah 40:13-25 – No one can instruct or advise God.
Psalm 92:5 – God's thoughts are exceedingly deep.
Psalm 104:24 – God made all things in wisdom.
Psalm 147:4-5 – God's understanding is infinite.
Isaiah 28:29 – God's counsel and wisdom are excellent.
Job 28:24 – God sees and understands all things.
God's Presence and Knowledge
God dwells in heaven.
Psalm 11:4 – God's throne is in heaven.
Psalm 123:1 – God's dwelling is in the heavens.
1 Kings 8:30-39, 43, 49 – God hears prayers from His heavenly dwelling.
Matthew 6:9 – Believers address God as "Our Father in heaven."
1 Timothy 6:15-16 – God dwells in unapproachable light.
God is present everywhere by His Spirit.
Psalm 139:7-8 – No place is beyond God's presence.
Psalm 104:30 – God's Spirit extends throughout creation.
Jeremiah 23:24 – God fills heaven and earth.
Acts 17:27-28 – God is not far from any person.
God sees and knows everything.

God's Glory and Majesty
God is supreme over all creation and worthy of all worship.
Genesis 14:19-22 – God is Possessor of heaven and earth.
1 Chronicles 29:11-14 – God reigns over all and deserves all praise.
Psalm 115:1 – Glory belongs to God alone.
Jude 25 – Majesty, dominion, and power belong to God.
1 Timothy 1:17 – Honour and glory are due to God forever.
1 Timothy 6:15-16 – God is King of kings and Lord of lords.
The Revelation of God
God revealed Himself to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and ultimately through Jesus Christ.
Exodus 3 (burning bush alluded to) – God revealed His name and purpose to Moses.
Deuteronomy 6:1-4 – God revealed His identity and commandments to Israel.
John 17:3 – God is revealed through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 43:10-12 – God revealed Himself as the only Saviour.
Isaiah 44:6-8 – God declared His uniqueness and supremacy.
