God Created Mankind to be Like Him

• God created mankind in his physical shape to be like him mentally and morally.

  Genesis 1:26-27 - image and likeness refers to physical shape as well as mental and moral

• God created the earth to be filled with his glory by being inhabited by people who are in his image and likeness

  1 Corinthians 11:7 - Paul quotes “image and likeness” in Genesis 1:26 as “image and glory”
